Every year, marketers and brand storytellers come together at a wide array of conferences and events. These conferences are my favorite way to not only learn new strategies for growing my business, but also staying on top of the marketing industry's latest trends and innovations and networking with some of the best and brightest in the biz.

Care to join me? These six 2019 marketing-focused conferences are sure to arm you with all sorts of tips, tricks, and knowledge to grow your business in the coming year.

1. ContentTECH Summit

Every brand needs a clear content strategy; and in 2019, that will undoubtedly include technology. Enter: ContentTECH Summit, which will focus on how exactly to leverage technology to create, scale, and manage your content marketing efforts in the coming year.

April 8-10, 2019, San Diego, CA

2. Social Media Week

The theme of Social Media Week 2019 (the conference's 11th year) is "Stories: With Great Influence Come Great Responsibility," focusing on social media's role as a powerful storytelling platform. Walk away with new knowledge on how to harness that power and meaningfully connect with users through your own storytelling, and with valuable insight on the ever-changing social media landscape.

April 30-May 2, 2019, New York, NY

3. MozCon

MozCon gets into the weeds of SEO (search engine optimization) and everything that comes with it. The conference will introduce you to new strategies for propelling your brand to the top of the search rankings, utilizing key SEO analytics to guide your content marketing, and making the most of the mobile landscape. The bonus: You can spend the whole conference focusing on listening (and networking!) rather than writing everything down -- MozCon records all of the speakers and gives attendees access to the recordings after the fact.

July 15-17, 2019, Seattle, WA

4. Content Marketing World

Content Marketing World is the biggest content marketing event out there, and it's easy to see why when you're there (I attend every year!). Spend the event networking with industry leaders and getting actionable tips on content strategy, metrics, content marketing trends, and new innovations in all of it from a wide-range of expert and awe-inspiring speakers. (Speakers at last year's conference hailed from companies like REI, LinkedIn, Marriott, Google, and more.)

September 3-6, 2019, Cleveland, OH

5. Inbound

Inbound is a big conference that focuses on the small details that make companies successful. The event gathers sales and marketing professionals from a wide-range of sectors (including entertainment, political, and editorial) to discuss how to maximize your brand's power and effectiveness throughout the customer experience. It all happens throughout more than 200 breakout sessions, and with some serious star power on the speaker list. The 2019 speakers haven't been announced yet, but previous years' lineups -- which have included the likes of Deepak Chopra, Shonda Rhimes, and Ronan Farrow -- are solid indication that Inbound recruits from the big leagues.

September 3-6, 2019, Boston, MA

6. AWNewYork

Head to Advertising Week's September conference for four days of seminars and workshops that delve into marketing technology, experiential marketing, creative storytelling, advertising innovations, and more. The high-wattage industry conference draws an impressive list of speakers (in previous years, attendees heard from Sarah Jessica Parker, Sheryl Sandberg, Al Gore, Jessica Alba, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more) as well as special events (think: nightly networking events and performances by entertainers like previous years' headliners Sting, Demi Lovato, Amy Schumer, and Trevor Noah) that all make it well worth your time.

September 23-26, 2019, New York, NY
