4 Useful Google Products You Never Knew Existed

“Google it” is a typical response one gets for asking information about something. This goes to show that Google has become so ingrained in our daily (digital) lives that it has become a verb.

Undoubtedly, Google products — the most famous ones: Google Search, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs — help people be more efficient and get work done each day. They are incredibly useful, but there are a lot of under-the-radar Google products that can be just as useful as the popular ones. Here are some of them:


1. Google Fonts

Need a unique font for your start-up’s new marketing campaign? Google offers a plethora of free fonts you can use for your brand’s website and marketing materials.

Google says that using Google Fonts makes the web faster because they safely cache the fonts without compromising the users’ privacy and security. They do cross-site caching so that a certain Google font will only load once with any website, and that same cached font will be used on any other website that uses Google Fonts.


 2. Google Keep

Not satisfied with the notes or planner apps you’ve tried? This minimalist note-taking app from Google might be the one for your busy entrepreneurial life. With the app, you can create notes and lists and check off your completed tasks, plus organize them through labels and colors. You can set reminders and add collaborators who can view your notes. You can also take photos, drawings, and audio recordings. “Ok Google” voice commands and automatic synchronization in multiple devices are also available.


3. Google Scholar

As an entrepreneur, doing presentations and pitch decks is a normal part of your life. This search site made by Google makes researching for professional journals, papers, books, and articles easier — you can now quickly back up your ideas and presentations with the most timely research close at hand.


4. Think with Google

Think with Google is an online place to look for consumer trends, market insights, and industry research.
